…passionate about my work. I love helping people get past emotional blocks, traumatic events, bad relationships, regrettable mistakes, and anything else stopping them from having the life they desire.
…direct. I don’t waste time beating around the bush. My goal and intention in every session is to help you resolve your problems quickly and thoroughly. Therapy helps you remove the blocks to a fulfilling life so you can get out there and enjoy life NOW! If your goal is to make the most traction with each and every session, you may really appreciate this approach.

My credentials and other information…
Therapy work: I have been a therapist since 1997 and a trauma counselor since 2001, when I initially trained in EMDR while working with people suffering from addictions. Today , I’m a trauma specialist, who is a Certified Brainspotting Practitioner/Certified Brainspotting Consultant through Brainspotting International, as well as a Certified EMDR Therapist through EMDRIA. These designations denote ongoing, advanced training, not only in trauma but also in the use of these effective, transformative modalities. See these links for more information:
Education: I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Furman University (1995) and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University (1998).
